Ep. 2: Is it cheaper to rent or buy?

The cost-of-living in the NYC area is INSANE. Rent keeps climbing while you get less space for more money. A lot of places cost more than the monthly bill for a house.

Renting has its perks: no maintenance, no trips to Home Depot, no 30-year commitment. But for me, buying meant peace of mind, options to grow our family, and space to take care of loved ones if they ever need us.

Plus, I was tired of hearing people on the other side of the wall, the stories I could tell.

Whatever you like, does the money you’re spending and saving match your future needs?

And if you need help with budgeting, I have resources for you.

This house needs to get finished. Follow along for more BTS renovation and personal finance tips.

New clothes? We have clothes at home!

I can’t be the only one that holds on to clothes that don’t fit and need some tweaks. But still keeps shopping.

Since new clothes are not in the debt payoff budget so it’s the perfect time to alter pieces I have.

I’ll be shopping my closet to save money.
